It’s not very often that I have time to read a book twice so
it’s a real compliment to Ms. Wyatt that I took the time read The One Who SeesMe again. It’s a powerful story that is a cross between a medieval love story
and the ancient Biblical lessons from the time of Abraham and Isaac. The
interesting twist is hearing the story from the servant’s perspective.
Faru is torn between her duty to her Lord and Lady, her
commitment to The Existing One, who has spoken to her for the first time in her
life, and the desires of her heart. In this story, the lines between the three
are very blurred.
I think that’s an example of how our lives often are lived.
Following where God leads is not always the easy path. Sometimes it doesn’t
even feel like it’s the right path, and yet we can’t deny when God asks us to
do something.
Have you read The One Who Sees Me by Kandi J. Wyatt? What’s
your opinion? -Julie L. Spencer
